Marco Leone has over 25 years of experience in the information technology industry in Brazil and Latin America. He launched and led Micro Focus International in the region as Vice President and General Manager from 2009 to 2023, guiding complex integrations and the OpenText acquisition. During this period, he helped manage the impact of several complex local integrations including Borland, the Attachmate Group (Novell, SUSE, Linux, NetIq), and HP Software. Before that, Mr. Leone served as Vice President and General Manager in Brazil at CA Technologies from 1997 to 2007. Mr. Leone has a B.A. degree and M.B.A. from Fundação Getulio Vargas, and has been certified at FGV, Wharton Business School, London Business School, INSEAD, and I.B.G.C. He is an active angel investor, member, and advisory board member at various organizations.
